The news comes just five months after Mbappe signed a deal with PSG worth up to $128 million for the 2022-23 season, making him the highest paid player in soccer.
Mbappe is reportedly willing to go to any destination, but Real Madrid stands out amongst the favorites with players such as Dani Ceballos and David Alaba to name a few on their loaded roster. Sources close to Mbappe have mentioned that the former Golden Boy and French Player of the Year winner believe he made a mistake in signing a new deal with.
The news should make one puzzled as PSG is currently 10-4-0 with ten wins and four draws across Ligue 1 play and the UEFA Champions League.
Mbappe has stated his remarks after reports of his unhappiness: "As for me, I have a three-year contract at PSG and I am very happy to be here, in this place -- and I work everyday so that I can fulfill my ambitions at the end of my contract."
